Our venue, Eclipse Nightclub has closed so we are currently NOT running any DeviLution nights at this time.
You are still more than welcome to join our forum to chat to local goth/metal/alternative sorts which we will continue to host.
If you want to join the mailing list for any future events please use our contact page to let me know.
I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who had supported DeviLution over the past 2 years - it has been a blast!! I will keep the galleries up for a while yet so grab any pics you want, in a couple of months I will reduce the galleries to a single 'best of Dev' gallery.

We finally have a confirmed date for Eclipse Nightclub closure so -
The very last DeviLution date: is DEFINITELY on FRIDAY 2ND MAY 2008.
The next DeviLution on 2nd May is the last one at Eclipse nightclub, so please please come along and say goodbye - lets make this month the best ever so we can all go away with happy memories!
Its been a blast, you are all fantastic and I am really going to miss seeing you all once a month.
You won't get another chance, there are no more reprises, so no excuses just get yourselves there or you know you'll regret it!
17th March 2008: The end is nigh..... Eclipse Nightclub is closing so Devilution will be ending.
The next Dev will definitely be on Friday 4th April 2008 ~ 9pm to 1am
After that we will play it by ear on a monthly basis until we get a definitive date for the club closure.
So, please treat this Dev as if it is the last just in case it is, and make every effort to come while you still have the chance.
After that I will keep you all updated as and when I know more.
We will keep running DeviLution for as long as the club is open but I have no idea how long that will be for and am not going to know in advance.
Thursday 13th March 2008:
THE END IS NIGH..... Eclipse Nightclub is closing so DEVILUTION WILL BE ENDING.
Next month will likely be the last Devilution.
Not sure what the date of the next Dev will be as yet as it depends on the exact date the club is closing (as yet undecided), we have been offered the possibility of having either Friday 28th March or Friday 4th April as our 'goodbye Dev' party.
Keep checking back here, I will post the date as soon as it is confirmed.
If you want to be able to say good bye to Dev, please keep both the 28th March and 4th April free as I do not know which date we'll get yet.

Ok!! Pay attention! The next DeviLution is a week before my Birthday, so we've decided to make it a bit of a party ^^ I know there are at least 5 other Pisces out there in Dev land so you are all included in the Birthday celebrations ^^
The 7th March is going to be a themed night, fancy dress optional of course, the theme is:
'HEROS AND VILLAINS'
The definitions of hero or villain is entirely up to you, and can be from any work of fiction or real life. Get your thinking caps of and get yourselves costume-ed ^^
9th December
Oooh by 'eck that were a great night on Friday, and I needed a good night out, it seemed like ages since last month's Dev!
Just letting you know that our New Years Party DeviLution on Friday 4th January will not be themed or fancy dress, I am sure we will all be skint and pretty tired after xmas and new years frivolities and as this Dev is so close to New Year I think it will be nice to be able to
turn up in whatever you fancy. If you want to collapse in jeans and tshirt that is cool by us, if you want to sparkle yourselves up you are of course welcome to come in as fancy a dress as you like ^^ I hope you will all come along despite the fact most of us will still be recovering from New Year's, but hey I can't think of a nicer way to round of the first week of the brand new year. Start as you mean to go on as they say! ^^ fayley xx

Wow. Seriously wow guys, out of the 102 of you through the door this month only 5 of you (to my count) were not in fancy dress. Halloween has never looked so good! A few people asked if there were prizes this time; no, sorry we were all just dressing up for the hell of it with no reward other than being able to look back at the photos on the gallery and say 'bloody good show everyone!' ;) Which I think is reward enough to be honest ^^
See you all next month on the 7th December, back to 'normal' but let me know if you want a theme for New Year's January Dev, its up to you, I don't want to force too many themed nights down your throat but if you fancy one for new year let me know at the next Dev :) fayley xx

Fancy dress is not compulsory, but if past events are anything to go by, most people will be dressing up :) "Fantasy and Fairytale" gives you oodles of choice, so get your creative hats on and think up a great costume ^^

9th September 22 August 8th August 19th June 16th June So we gave out best costumed lady to the very deserving demon Karen, who amazingly found the time to make her articulated wings herself despite having a queue of friends who she also made costumes for over the past couple of weeks - you're a star!! The prizes given were: 5th June 21st April 17th March 17th February 23rd Jan 2007 16th December Upcoming Dev on 15th December is a Maquerade Ball - yay! Thought we'd have something a bit fancy for christmas :)
Yes thats right, Masquerade Ball on the 15th Dec! Yay! Think of the ballroom scene from the film Labyrinth if you will, or even the naughty scene from Eyes Wide Shut... either would be appropriate for our event lol. A few of you have been asking if next month is the Halloween special - NOPE!! Its soooo early in the month being the first Friday, so actually it makes alot more sence to have the November DeviLution as the Halloween event - being only 2 days after Halloween. So, come as normal next month, we will put details of the Halloween theme up closer to the time for November. fayley xx

Just wanted to let you all know that the set lists for the past two (yes two!) months are up and ready for you to peruse.
As some of you may know, I have a job now, therefore I don't have as much time sitting on my ass
putting up set lists, so I'm sorry they're late. But they're here now! Go lookie! Josh.
The 1st Friday has become available to hire at Eclipse so we have decided to grab the night for DeviLution - hopefully you'll all be happy with this as its an easier night to remember and should be after payday for most of you :)
So the next event is 17th August as before, thereafter it will be the 1st Friday monthly (7th Sept, 5th Oct, 2nd Nov). fayley xx

Just wanted to make an announcement
that no doubt everyone noticed already. As you may have heard last Friday, we had a little bit of a problem with the sound system on
account of one of the subs not working so it sounded like someone had whacked the treble all the way up! Sorry!

Thanks to you all for making DeviLutions 1st Birthday such a lovely event last night! ^^ Once again there where some amazing costumes, more demons than angels but I guess that was to be expected ;)
We didn't announce the winners of the best lady and guy at the end of the night, mostly because I hate having to use the micropohone in the club, but also you were all going for it on the dance floor and I didn't want to interrupt you all ^^
We had a unanamous vote for the best dressed female demon, however as part of the prize was free entry to next months DeviLution, we couldn't really give it to the voted winner as she lives in Germany and is only visiting for a couple of weeks! So congratulations Nadja, your costume was stunning, the amount of work you
put it to making it was quite astounding, and all the staff at Eclipse agreed your Fire Demon was a winner.
Andy won the best guy, we totally loved your spiked hair horns ^^ (hopefully your hair will recover from the harsh bleach treatment - eek we don't want a bald Andy ;)
Karen - free entry to next months Dev plus a goody bag with net armsleeves, nail polish and eyeliner.

DeviLution's one year anniversary this month and to celebrate we are having another fancy dress night (Woohoo!!). Yep, and the theme this month is...
Angels and Demons - as always, fancy dress is not compulsory but it would be nice if you all make an effort! There will be a prize
for best girl and best boy, a nice goodie bag worth £10 including free entry for the July Dev!

Well it was a bit of a disappointingly quiet night last night compared to February and March, thanks to all of you who continue to support the night religiously, and thank you to all you guys who came for the first time last night, it was great as always to see new faces and make new friends ^^
Next month we will continue to have 2 bars open, however if numbers aren't back up we won't be able to keep the bar open for the following month so please drag all your mates along, kick those guys up the bum who missed it this month and lets get things going again!
Also, please pleas PLEASE! EVERYONE bring I.D with them to ALL future DeviLution events - we had a total of 19 people turned away at the door last night either through lack of valid ID themselves or groups containing one person without ID all leaving together for the sake of their mate. Seems a real shame when people have made the effort to dress up and come out... So please, either leave your under age friends at home, or if you are over age bring ID to prove it!
The club will not slacken on this as they themselves are on their last warning - if they get found to let in any under age people or people not ID'd who then turn out to be under age the club risks closure and the manager risks a jail sentance. So even if you look well into your 20's there's a chance they will ID you anyway to be on the safe side.
Valid ID's are the following ONLY:
* Citizen Card - cost £9 - available from the post office or by calling 01782 741982 or from the website at http://www.citizencard.net/
* Pass Card - cost £5 - more info or to get card at http://www.pass-scheme.org.uk/ and http://www.portman-group.org.uk/campaigns/52.asp
* Validate UK - only if the card has a PASS logo - obtainable from http://www.validateuk.co.uk/
* Connextions Card - old cards are still valid as proof of age however the company has closed so new cards are not available any more.
* Driving License
* Passport
* Other ID cards with the PASS symbol, such as European proof of age cards.
COLLEGE ID IS **NOT** VALID ID!

Thank you all for a lovely night last night, despite both me and Josh having horrible colds and being very sniffly and tired we had a great time :)
Hope to see you all on the 16th March, as it is my 'xx'th Birthday that week! yay! (Thats not xx as in 20th, its xx as in I shan't be disclosing my age... although anyone wanting to wish me a happy 20th will get a hug ;) There WILL be cake! :) You are all welcome to bring presents ;) If you can't manage that then at least bring yourselves and a friend :) I know of 3 other pisces with birthdays that week so lets all have a joint party :) fayley xx

We've had some suggestions to try to help out any one struggling with transport to and from DeviLution - anyone wanting lifts or able to offer lifts please call me at Dare on 01872 273666 or pop into the shop and I'll keep a list of contacts and where you are travelling from so maybe we can arrange some car shares. We already have an offer from the lovely Andy who has 3 spaces available in his car each month travelling from the Falmouth area,
so let me know if you are interested in this car share and I'll get you in contact with each other!
Best night so far guys! (in my humble opinion anyway) ;p You've obviously all been doing a grand job spreading the word to your mates as this was the busiest night so far with many new faces :) And oh my gosh how fab it was to
see you all bedecked in your finary! And the masks! *swoon* such pretty sights to see! All the piccies are up on the galley, go look!
We are back to 'normal' (yes I do use that word in the loosest terms) on the 19th Jan (as in there will be no theme for the night), so we look forward to seeing you all again whether it be in baggy jeans or rubber lol
I do need to remind everyone this is an over 18 night only. The club are going to be cracking down on ID checks for anyone looking underage next month, so please if you are fresh faced and youthfull bring your ID or you won't get in!

Hey guys! We've just had the manager of Eclipse-ness in to give us confirmation of the next DeviLution. Yep, we are back again on the last Friday of September and then a slight change every month after. The guy that organises Rehab has now got the last Friday of the month (after Sept) and therefore, the next DeviLution after Sept will be on the 3rd Friday of the month instead.
So, to make things simple, upcoming dates:
Oct 20th (third Friday)
Nov 17th
Dec 22nd

Club management seemed to be happy with the turnout so at the mo it looks like this will become a regular event, however we are rethinking holding it on the last friday of the month, as more often than not it will fall just before payday - not good! So we will let you know what week of the month it will be for next time - watch this space!!

Weeeeeeeeeeeee're Back!!!!!!!!!!! Apparently you guys really did have a great night at the first DeviLution, and have been phoning Eclipse Nightclub in droves to ask when the next one is..... so we have been asked to come back and do it again! Wahey!
So the last Friday of August (25th) from 9pm to 1am we will be rockin' your socks off again!
Any of you who came to the first one will know what a great night it is, so we will be expecting you to drag all your mates along with you. And if you didn't come to the first one, bloomin' well come along in August!! It is a very friendly night, you'll meet loadsa people, the emphasis is very much on
enjoying the music and being able to relax in a club with like-minded people.

Forum is up and running, so please share your views are general ramblings, otherwise Teri and I will be left to amuse ourselves, which is never good ;)
Also had a minor rethink on the dress code - still pretty relaxed but as this is an alternative night we want to remove the 'gawking element' of chavy pub leavers - so no sportswear - if you turn up in a tracksuit and baseball cap you ain't getting in. Anything else is cool from jeans and tshirt to rubber :)
Ok, well as we haven't had our first night yet there isn't much more news different to what you'll already have read on the main page....so for now the news is....
*BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE* Yay! There's gonna be an alternative music night in Truro!!!! Get your butts down to Eclipse Nightclub on the 30th June! I know where most of you live, so if you don't go I'll hunt you down and mosh at you in a threatening manner!!
